If the Type 35TC was a Type 35T later equipped with a volume compressor, the Type 35B was instead a Type 35T that the volumetric compressor foresaw this from the very beginning and from the moment it left the factory in Molsheim. Introduced at the beginning of the 1927the model Type 35B was also characterised by the engine with a displacement of 2262 cm³but the contribution of the volumetric compressorsimilar to that used in the Type 35C, made it possible to achieve a maximum power of 140 hp at 5300 rpm. Other improvements included the arrival of larger diameter brakes (330mm) and larger radiator.

With these characteristics, the Type 35B could reach a maximum speed of 210 km/h. Despite these characteristics of undoubted stature, it never came to affect the aggressiveness of the Type 35CThe reason for this was that its long-stroke engine, while allowing the delivery of more torque at low revs, did not allow high revs as in the case of the Type 35CThis is necessary in order to be able to exploit the engine's maximum power at all times during the race.

In any case, even for the Type 35B successes were not lacking: one specimen won the French Grand Prix of 1929. It was produced until 1930 in only 45 specimens and it was the last Type 35 to be introduced and exit the scene at the end of the decade.
